Ai Bake House Rebranded to Ai Designer Cakes by Eric Chong
After a few months of thinking the new name and getting the right logo design, we have finally worked out the final version of the logo.
The latest logo looks simpler and cleaner compare to the old one. The name is also easy to remember.

Who is Eric Chong?
Who is Eric Chong?
Eric is a UK born lad but was raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He had been working as a Graphic Designer for more than 8 years. In 2007, he went to UK to further his studies in Bachelor of Graphic and Visual Communication for 2 years. Once graduated, he worked for a toy design company in UK for 3 years.
In year 2009, he discovered his new interest, BAKING. He started to bake some simple cakes by referring to simple recipes from the Internet and books. The reason he likes to bake is he feels happy to see all smiling faces whenever people try his creations. Cakes and desserts always make people happy!
He started to bake every weekend whilst he was still working full time as a Graphic Designer. Like everyone else, not all of his cakes that he baked were perfect. He was eager to improve his baking skills so he attended a 5 days 1-to-1 personal baking course during his holiday in Malaysia. He has shared his cakes with his colleagues, friends and neighbours, and with the support, advice and courage from them after trying his cakes, he then decided to continue his dream.
In 2010, he started Ai Bake House, a home baking business in the UK. Starting a business as a foreigner was never easy let alone it was a work from home business where the opportunities to approach customers were limited. However, with his continued efforts to 'market' his cakes on the internet, he gained a few loyal customers.
In 2011, he found out that he should utilise his design skills in sugarcraft cake decorating and so he attended a 6 days basic sugar craft course in the UK. At that time, angry birds was very popular so he started his first sugar craft cake using angry birds as a theme for a friend's birthday. Again, he has received very good feedback from his friends!
With all the basic skills, he spent most of his time to think, create, experiment and look for some new baking techniques from Internet & books during the rest of his extra time. He is enhancing his baking skills everyday, every week, every month. Until today, he is still trying out and learning some new baking techniques.
In January 2012, he has married his wife, Pei Lin. Not long after their marriage Pei Lin was pregnant. After a long consideration, they have decided to move back to Malaysia to raise their family. They arrived back to Malaysia in October and their daughter, Cherry was born in November.
After months of thinking, Eric has decided to rebrand Ai Bake House to Ai Designer Cakes by Eric Chong. He hopes that he can make more creative cakes with his love and passion in baking and make people happy!
